SOND was founded in 2022 by MIT graduates Yadid Ayzenberg (PhD) and Amir Lazarovich (MSc), driven by frustration with sleep products that only track, but never help. Yadid’s work in wearable sensors and closed-loop interventions led to a generative audio platform later acquired by Bose—where he spent years advancing sleep technology.
